If I consign with Wiggle Room, will I receive the tax write off for any of my items that are donated?
We are unable to give donation receipts for unsold items that we donate after 65 days. The reason is that tracking and sorting a few donated items for each of many consignors creates an administrative burden that adds to our staff costs, as well as a burden for the charities to which we donate. We believe that it is in consignors’ interest for our staff to instead spend their time making sure that their items are presented in the best way possible for sale!
How do I make an appointment?
Schedule online at www.wiggleroom.genbook.com. We accept items seasonally. Generally, fall clothing is accepted starting August 1st; winter clothing starting mid-October; spring clothing starting February 1st, and summer clothing starting mid-March. We time appointments based on what types of items we have a need for and/or space for, so it is important for us to know what types of items you are looking to consign. We schedule this way because 1) we have limited storage space, and 2) we try to maintain a balance in the selection of clothing sizes, etc.
How do you price items?
We set prices at about 30-60% of the retail price; this varies widely depending on the condition, age, and demand for the item.
What is your return policy?
Returns on most items are accepted within 7 days of purchase, provided they still have the tags on and are in the same condition in which they were sold. Strollers and other large gear (swings, bassinets, high chairs, etc.) are FINAL SALE. New merchandise (non-consigned, or NWT consigned merchandise) is returnable only if unopened and unused.
